DESCRIPTION:The Austrian Rope Retreat starts on Thursday, and since quite a few people will already be in Vienna the evening before, we’re having a little pre-retreat get-together at our homebase, Kinbaku Studio Vienna.\nThis is still a regular, open Rope Jam. You absolutely don’t need to be part of the retreat to join us. But if you’re already in Vienna for the retreat, it’s a nice chance to meet some people beforehand, have a first tie together and see where we usually hang out.\nAnd if you have nothing to do with the retreat at all: also good. Come jam with us.\nWho\nEveryone interested in rope is welcome, regardless of role, identity, orientation, rope style or experience level.\nThe only real requirement is being respectful of the people and the space around you.\nTime\nDoors open at 19:30.\nAt 23:00 everyone needs to be out. We need our beauty sleep before the excitement starts.\nCost\n€15\nPlease bring cash and preferably something close to the correct amount.\nA few practical things\n• Water, tea and small snacks will be available in the kitchen.\n• You’re very welcome to bring something to share.\n• No open drinks or food on the tatami or in the tying room.\n• A limited amount of rope is available to borrow.\n• This is a jam, there is no formal teaching.\n• No smoking inside the building and no substance abuse.\n• If you plan on suspending, it might be a good idea to bring stuff to build your own suspension point. We’ll likely have most of ours packed away and ready to be taken to the retreat already.\n
